Kekolu Contracting, LLC is an SBA-approved 8(a) small business that provides DoD contracting services at military installations nation-wide. Kekolu comes with the impressive and ready resources of its Native Hawaiian Organization (NHO) parent company, Honu‘apo, and its SBA-approved affiliate, Honu‘apo I (H1). Because Kekolu has the advantage of using the qualifications and capabilities of its SBA-authorized affiliates, it has the benefit of performing every contract with the backing of an established and knowledgeable management staff, strong financial resources, and extensive past performance experience. In other words, Kekolu combines outstanding relevant past performance experience and corporate resources with small business responsiveness and customer-focused attention. Kekolu maintains an accepted System Security Plan, is compliant with NIST SP 800-171 DoD Assessment Requirements, including DFARS 252.204-7019, and is able to accept and use Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI).

Kekolu has been awarded three (3) competitively bid substantial IDIQ Federal Construction Contracts, performing as the Prime Contractor on military installations in the Mid-Atlantic Region. Kekolu has also formed an SBA-approved Joint Venture to compete and perform in other regions across the United States for both 8(a) and non 8(a) work.
